Welcome to CCCstudent.org

If your teacher provided a code, click on Quiz Yourself on the left and enter the code.

This companion site to www.CCCframework.org was developed to support educators in collecting and analyzing data on students’ college and career competencies and needs. The assessments within this suite promote students’ reflection on their strengths related to intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies, as well as provide educators with data to inform instruction and monitor students’ development.

Assessments within this suite measure:

Perceptions: Are students increasing their self-awareness and accurately analyzing their own competence? We call this type of assessment a questionnaire.

Knowledge: Are students increasing their knowledge of intrapersonal and interpersonal concepts? We use the term, knowledge test, to describe these assessments.

Skills: Are students increasing their skills in the intrapersonal or interpersonal competency? Skills are measured through assessment data embedded into curricular activities, including situational judgement assessments. Curricular resources are available for purchase.

Application of Skills: Are students applying their skills across environments and endeavors? Two types of assessment, performance-based observations (completed by teachers) and performance-based reflections (completed by students) measure the application of competency-specific skills.

To learn more about administering the assessments, check out our guide and videos.

Technical guides include background on the constructs, administration procedures, validity and reliability evidence, recommended uses of the results, and descriptions of the assessment items. The technical guides are organized into distinct intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies:

Assertiveness Assessments

Conflict Management Assessments

Self-Efficacy Assessments

Self-Regulation Assessments

Competency Needs Assessment

The Skills That Matter: Family Reflection

Administering an Assessment

Create a free account. Then, in My Portal, after you select an assessment and assign it a unique name, the website will generate a unique assessment code. For the Knowledge Tests and Questionnaires, student select Quiz Yourself from the left-hand navigation bar and enter the assessment code. For the Performance-Based Observations, you, as the teacher, will enter the data.

Some things to know:

  • Students do not need an account to complete assessments. They only need unique student IDs and the code generated for each assessment.
  • Students receive results immediately upon completion of the assessment, at which point they can print their scores or take a screenshot.
  • You will have access in My Portal to summarized results, individual student results, and an excel file of the raw student data.
