Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  Talk to them privately and explain your side of the story and listen to what they have to say after that tell them when you turned it in and maybe if you have a witness tell your teacher that someone saw you. Don’t get aggressive and accuse anyone of anything.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Talk to them about how you are feeling and ask them to explain their situation. If something is wrong between the friendship try to talk about it and fix it. One the other hand if your friend really does have stuff going on ask them what’s wrong.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Be assertive because losing your temper makes situations worse. If your assertive maybe the other person will give you something’s you do want.
