Student Answer:  I understand you’re busy in your life, but I would much rather you explain why we can’t continue our plans and give me more notice than a last minute, it makes me upset when you do so.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  You should communicate assertively to show your concerns and express your feelings the correct way. One instance could be a teacher thinking you cheated on a test, if you respond aggressively then they will believe you are lying. Another could be lying to your parents about where you were, if you’re aggressive about it they may not believe you and you may end up in more trouble than you were already in.
