Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons. Student Answer: We should choose to communicate assertively because it makes our needs, wants, and/or opinions known, and even if it doesn’t get us what we want, it’s still helpful for us and the people involved to know where we stand. We should also choose to be assertive because making a conscious effort to do so will build our people skills and help us through life, such as applying to college and going through a job interview. |
