Student Answer: I would talk to the friend and tell them how it’s been making me feel even if it might upset them. I would tell them that I know some things come up that you have to cancel plans for but not every time.. if you don’t want to hang out with me just tell me it will make me feel a lot better than getting my hopes up that I’m going to hang out with you rather than you bailing every time we plan to hang out. |

Student Answer: Being assertive is respectful and makes a person feel good even in a bad situation. It also makes you look responsible and will help you in future situations |
