Student Answer:  I would like to talk about my homework. I understand the misunderstanding, but I just would like to say that I did turn my homework in on time. Thank you for hearing me out.

Student Answer:  I understand that things come up, but if any way possible, could you give me a heads up about cancelling plans. If you would like we could make plans further in advance to ensure there is nothing going on and we could plan them at times we do not have anything going on. If unable to could you please call me and tell me why and when you can not make it.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  I think you should choose to be assertive because while doing so people might respond better and have a more open mind. Also if you start now those things can help you with life and help to make you not sound like a whinny baby.
