Student Answer:  I understand that sometimes you aren’t able to control some events, but it is really frustrating for me when you repeatedly cancel at inconvenient times. Next time we plan to hand out can you make sure to check the calendar so it won’t be cancelled, because I would still love to spend time with you.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
