Student Answer:  I understand that you think that I turned my homework in late, but I am telling the truth when I say that I turned my homework in on the correct due date and it is fully done, please believe me.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  I understand that you are busy and have to cancel our plans sometimes, but it feels like everytime we try to get together to do something you end up canceling it at the last minute, and I just want to understand why.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  You should still choose to communicate assertively because people will take you more seriously when you do and they will hopefully take into account what you are trying to say and why you are addressing this with them.
