Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  Tell the teacher that you did turn it in, and ask politely if they could check to see if it was turned in. Then if they find it you are fine, but if not then show them proof that you did turn in the assignment.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Ask them why they keep canceling and see if they have a legitimate excuse, if they don’t explain that you don’t like it when they cancel last minute. Then try to reason with them as to why they are avoiding you.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  When your assertive you can get your opinion out more than you would normally, even if you still have ideas you didn’t get to share. When people know how you feel so you can give your ideas more freely and with out doubts of being made fun of.
