Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Will you please stop making plans then end up canceling them because somebody might have wanted to do something with me that day and time and I said I couldn't because I was busy?
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  If you talk assertively it is less likely the other person will get mad. It won't make everyone angry or mad if you at least try to talk assertively.
