Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  If you don’t want to hang out with me it is alright, you can just tell me. I won’t be mad at you. It just hurts my feelings even more when you cancel our plans at the last minute.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
