Student Answer:  I understand that you think that I turned it in late. I am trying to be honest and open with you, I didn’t turn it in late. It was in your in box when it was due.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  I feel sad and upset that you keep canceling our plans. I know that things happen, but it’s become repetitive. I would just like to know how to fix this with you, so we don’t have any turmoil.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  To get you’re opinion out there and make it clear what you think. And to at least try and make yourself look confident.
