Student Answer:  I understand you think I turned me homework in late, but I turned it in by the time it was due. How can I prove to you it was turned in on time?
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  I get that you are busy, but when you make plans then ditch me, it makes me feel left out. If you make plans you need to follow through and due what you say you’ll do.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Communicating assertively makes you sound more confident, and will make you more understandable.
