Student Answer:  Why are you always canceling our plans? Do you just not want to hang out? If so than let’s stop making them.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  1. Doing so will build respect with the person you are speaking with. 2. They may be more willing to compromise and offer something else instead of nothing.
