Essay: For a project, you want to design a model but your partner wants to give a presentation. How would you approach the conflict using different styles?
Student Answer: I would first collaborate with my partner to choose/fine-tune our topic into something we both agree on and then discuss how we could compromise or combine our ideas. Perhaps we could have a model that we use in a presentation that we create. If this is not something my partner is amenable to, I would ask for their perspective and how they feel we could compromise before reflecting on my feelings on their suggestion. If needed, asking the teacher for some guidance might provide an outside perspective and help us come to a satisfactory conclusion. |
