Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons. Student Answer: I believe that you should communicate assertively even though I won't always get everything I want for the following two reasons:
1) If I don't effectively and assertively communicate my wants, needs, and thoughts then the other individual won't know how I truly feel.
2) By communicating assertively with other individuals I will hopefully have a better relationship with those individuals due to the open communication (at least from my end). |
