Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer: I think you should still be assertive so that the person you talking to knows you want it and keeps you in mind. For example, "coach i want the starting spot and I'm willing to put all the hard work and effort in" he will then see how devoted you are to the sport and keep you in mind that is the type of player the coach is looking for. So adding or keeping that assertive tone you are giving yourself a better chance at getting something you want. |
