Question/AnswerPoints
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  Well, this has only occurred once, i was in 4th grade. My teacher at the times name was "Mrs.Q" and she was kind of one of those fun but pretty indecisive teachers, anyways we had three sheet of homework that was due in 2 days, yes i made progress but i wasn't done, the next day i go back to school our teacher is asking for our work and everyone tells her that she said it was due on Wednesday but she still asked for it saying "well if you listened you would know it was due today."
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  My bestfriend, i wont say her name but she always makes plans but then cancels them. Like a scenario was she made plans with me and said we were going to castles and coasters but then last minute said "oh, i cant go." or "sorry i cant pay, you pay i can still go though:), just make sure your parents bring us. Like i love making plans, don't get me wrong but sometimes just getting cancelled on sucks. Especially when they cancel to hang out with someone else, it gets exhausting.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Well personally with that mindset, you know you wont get everything you desire, but you'll be motivated to keep going to earn what you want instead of relying on someone. I like it when i get what i want, i can speak for everyone here, everyone loves when they get what they want, my point is when you communicate assertively you tend to get your point across more.
