Essay: Imagine that you are facing a challenge and you are not sure you can be successful. Name three things you could do to raise your belief in yourself. Student Answer: You could see it as a benefit, with a phrase I like to say, "pain is weakness leaving the body." You could also think back to all the other things you have done in your life that caused you stress and anxiety, the same feeling in the current challenge that is being presented, telling yourself that you have done this already. Lastly, you could tell yourself that it will not last forever, nothing does, so you should simply endure that pain and you will benefit from it in some way.
