Essay: Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late. Student Answer: I noticed that my homework is marked late in skyward. I just wanted to remind you that I turned it in on paper instead of on schoology, so schoology didn't register it as complete. Thank you so much. |

Essay: Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute. Student Answer: I would like to hang out with you sometime, but today won't work. I would have to change plans for other commitments and adjust my homework time. Since you have had to cancel last minute a lot, it would be harder on me to try to re-adjust my schedule after already changing it. I will be able to see you at lunch tomorrow, though! |
