Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer: Sometimes people feel threatened and get defensive, or try to make you feel bad. so compromise can be necessary. However, you should still be assertive because if you're too passive you'll likely get taken advantage of. Also, being assertive makes more people see you in a better light, and gains respect within a community. |
