Student Answer:  I understand that you may have things that pop up, and that causes you to have to cancel your plans at the last minute, but I would really like if we had a time that was predefined to be free for us to have plans. I am available anytime I am available, and I look foreword to having plans with you.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  I think you should be clear, don't demand things from people, and try to stay calm even if you disagree. You should do that because the other person will see you are more friendly, and they will be more likely to cooperate.
