Essay: Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute. Student Answer: I don't think we should be planning things anymore. At least not till they have every thing together. And once they have a proof plan to hang out that won't get cancelled. |

Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons. Student Answer: One reason to still be assertive when in conversation is because you still need to get the point and/or want across to the person. It's also needed to show how much respect is needed for said need and/ or point. |
