Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  I know that you think I turned my homework in late. I can assure you that I did not turn it in late and that maybe you may have misplaced it. If you want to talk to me more about it sometime later then tell me when.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  I understand you're trying to make plans, and I'm glad you are. However you can't keep cancelling them last second because that interferes with my day or week heavily.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  That way your voice will still be heard and they know what you had to say.
