Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons. Student Answer: When speaking assertively you not only state what you want but you also say it in a way that is respectful to others. This will help the other person to respect you and/or your opinions. Second it might help the other person to self reflect afterwards on what you said and maybe get a new point of view. |
