Student Answer: If I was struggling to learn a concept in math I would first make a plan, break that plan down into small parts, and monitor those pieces to make sure I'm getting there. For example, if I was struggling to learn area, I would make a plan of reviewing area problems to try and get better. I would break these problems down into parts to see what I need help with, identifying the base and height or the area formula itself. I might even be using the wrong formula. I would then practice each step, ask questions if I need clarification on how to do it, and monitor my progress to make sure I was getting better at understanding and doing each step. |
