Individual Essay Grading For: Assertiveness Knowledge Test 10.2022
Question/AnswerPoints
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  It is a very human thing to make mistakes, and I respect that that is okay. Before accusing me, please kindly ask me about it, so we can get somewhere.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  It's okay that life happens and events keep coming up. However, it hurts my feelings when you prioritze other events over what we had already planned. In the future, just give me a little notice before bailing and prioritize me just a little more.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  It is better to try and have a chance. It also expresses your boundaries, and people can at least understand you and what you want better.
