Student Answer:  I understand that you think I turned in my homework late, but I had it written in my planner and I believe I turned it in on time.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Look I get that things can come up last minute but this has been happening for the last several times that we have wanted to hang out. It is very hard to make plans and then to have you cancel and it is really annoying and starting to hurt my feelings.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Yes because given the situation you'll find providing good feedback in the situation you can still end with a positive note even if you don't get what you want. You are also standing up for yourself and others when you talk through the situation and it maybe eye opening for everyone to look at different angles.
