Individual Essay Grading For: Assertiveness Knowledge Test 10.2022
Question/AnswerPoints
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  I haven't turned my homework in late. I turned it in at 23:59. 00:00 starts a new day, 23:59 does not.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  I understand you have things going on at the same time as our plans, and I, also, understand that things can pop up. What I don't understand is why you don't tell me sooner. These are things you need to know ahead of time and need to tell me about, so we can work out better times. Okay?
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Passive will make you seem like you don't care when you do. Aggressiveness will get you nowhere good in life. Probably end up in a jail cell.
