Essay: Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute. Student Answer: I don't like it that you make plans with me then can't go through with it, not only are you losing my trust but you're also making it look like you can't be responsible. Don't make plans with me if you can't go. The least you could do is tell me right then when you become unavailable, instead of waiting till the last minute. When you do that Its stressful and hurts my feelings, please just be honest with me, thank you. |
