Student Answer:  I understand that you have plans, but could you please let me know ahead of time so I can plan ahead, next time could you please let me know sooner before you so I can make different plans.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  I would choose to communicate assertively because it allows me to clearly get my point across and it is more persuasive to the person you are talking to give you what you want.
