Student Answer:  I understand if you don't want to have plans with me, however, it hurts my feelings when you cancel last minute and it feels like you are neglecting me, I would like it if you would tell me if you would not like to make plans with me or if you would actually attend our plans.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  It helps get your point across while not being aggressive towards others and while still speaking your opinion. It also shows people that you understand their view of the situation.
