Student Answer: If I were to face such a task, I would write the topic down in my notes; in my own words and examples provided by me. I'll review concept with the teacher and show her the notes I have written down of the concept; If I continue to fail to understand the concept, I'll make time to schedule tutoring hours with the teacher to go over the concept with me. This would involve more practice problems and defining key terms in the concepts and re-explaining it again. Going into tutoring with not only help me understand the concept more clearly, but improves time management and can apply this situation to any subject that I would struggle with in the near future. Self-regulation plays huge part of this as I would need to devote my time to understand a concept from a subject I am studying; as explained I would go in free periods or after-schools to the teachers room to do more practice and go over the concept again with more help with the teacher. |
