Essay: Imagine that you are struggling to learn a concept in math. Provide brief descriptions of how you would address the first two components of self-regulation to work towards improving your learning.
Student Answer: When your struggling with a concept in math you don't understand quite well there many solutions to the problem. To begin with a solution would be to use your resources around you some example are, asking if the teacher for a reteach if that does not work then resort to the internet or going to your nearest library. Theses solutions will ultimately help you reach the end goal which is understanding the math concept. Even though putting extra time, effort and hard work into a goal is time wasting it can improve a persons self regulation which in the end is better overall. |
