Student Answer:  I understand you think I turned in my homework late, but I didn't. I remember turning my paper in on time. I think you must've lost my paper and just found it so you're saying I didn't turn it in on time, but I did and I think I shouldn't get points off for it.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Can you please check your schedule before you plan stuff out for us, or just be sure you want to go, I'm not blaming you for something that could've happened unexpectedly but you do this a lot and I just want you to be cautious of what plas you'll have or think you'll have.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  If you communicate assertively the person you communicating with tells their feelings as well and you guys will have a good conversation about it. They'll also reflect on their actions and you won't hurt their feelings from saying what's on your mind.
