Essay: Imagine that you are struggling to learn a concept in math. Provide brief descriptions of how you would address the first two components of self-regulation to work towards improving your learning.
Student Answer: The first step I would take to be able to comprehend the math is to take a step back and chill. Then I would go over all the notes we had taken previously leading up to what I was stuck on. I would do a to do list off all the question or assignments that weren't done or that I didn't understand, to help me not be stuck any more. After that I would go over me notes once again and talk with my teacher to get clarity on the work. Hopefully after all of that I would be able to understand the work and stay on track. |
