Student Answer:  Dear, teacher I can assure you I did not turn this assignment in late. You said it was due on November 10 and you assigned it on November 9. I turned it in at the end of class on the 10.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Dear friend, I don't like how we keep making plans and it seems like you keep backing out last minute while I'm already at the place we, we're planning on going to. This hurts my feelings and makes me feel like you don't want to be my friend please stop doing this.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  You should choose to communicate assertively, because although you may not get what you want you are communicating how you feel and how your reactions relate to how you're feeling. It also keeps you from bottling things up witch would make how you're feeling worse.
