Student Answer:  There seems to be a problem with my homework being turned in late even though I had turned it by its due date. Would there be a way for me to see what had happened?
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Every time we try to make plan together you cancel last minute. Is there something I have done to upset you? I would like to hangout with you but if you continue to cancel on me I don't want to hangout with you.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Being honest and polite about something can get your point across just as much as yelling and being disrespectful. Sometimes being aggressive towards is the only way for them to understand. For other people being nice about it can get your point across without being rude.
