Student Answer: When your passive, it lets people walk all over you. you never get what you want and prioritize others over yourself. It not only hurts you, but can hurt other people around you. Which In the end-leaves everyone unhappy. While on the opposite side of the spectrum, aggressiveness is walking over other people. You prioritize yourself over everything else, and hurt others in the process. Like passiveness, you not only hurt others, but can also hurt yourself. Being assertive does not guarantee you will get what you want, but during the process you stayed true to yourself, and that's what really matters. |
