Question/AnswerPoints

Student Answer:  "I turned in my assignment on the due date and put it in the turn in box. Are you able to check it?"
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  "I understand things come up, but this happened multiple times and it's difficult for me when I clean and get everything ready just for you to cancel at the last second. If we do plan something again, can you please double check your calendar to make sure nothing comes up?"
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  You should choose to communicate assertively because you wont get what you want with being aggressive, that will just escalate the situation, and you certainly wont get anything you want with being passive, you'll just give them what they want. You'll most likely get a better outcome with assertiveness.
